URGENT ACTION NEEDED

Send a Direct Message to the Premier

Premier Danielle Smith has introduced discriminatory anti-trans laws and is now planning to use the notwithstanding clause to force them through.

This clause blocks the courts–but not us. Our Premier may try her best to silence judges, but she cannot silence the public. We still have a pathway to protect gender-affirming care–if enough of us flood inboxes right now.

The legislation will be introduced at the end of October with the clause. That gives us one month to shape the debate. Direct emails are tracked, reviewed, and can’t be ignored. The more we send, the stronger we look.

Why this matters:

  • The law is being debated now.

  • Public outrage in the next month will set the tone.

  • The clause doesn’t protect Smith from political pressure.

Take 5 minutes to act now:

  1. Fill out the form below to create a pre-formatted email.

  2. Add your own subject line and sign with your name and postal code.

  3. Hit send.

THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM THE PETITION LETTER. WE NEED YOU, YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO DO BOTH. So please send a Direct Message today. We have a month to show Alberta how strong, how loud, and how united we are.

Send your message today.
